0:00 Welcome to ANI In The Air Under The Tent and Around Baltimore, your daily podcast briefing
0:05 of all the goings ons, ins and arounds, arts and ideas at Sudbury School.
0:09 So today was Tuesday, so we had a school meeting.
0:15 It was fairly short as they go, passed a new rule, and then we talked about some change
0:25 in the field, which actually got a good amount of discussion.
0:33 So that was cool.
0:36 And yeah, you know, it was a beautiful day, nice breezy, and there were students out doing
0:51 some things here and there, but it seemed much more mild than I would have expected.
0:55 I don't know if the cicadas are getting to people, it's still quite loud, I mean it's
1:01 far less than it was, but there's still plenty of cicadas that go around.
1:09 There was one that kind of grabbed my toe today, and just, you know, like how they hang
1:13 on to the branches, they were hanging on to my toe, I wear sandals around, and that was
1:18 kind of a weird experience.
1:22 And then, let's see, what else, yeah we had a very short JC, six minutes long, that was
1:39 pretty good.
1:41 And then, yeah, I don't know, I did do a talk about Tuesday on boredom, so that is also
1:54 posted here, and otherwise, yeah, oh, I'm staring at a congrats for you grad balloon
2:06 that appeared under the tent, I don't know where it came from.
2:09 I'm also seeing various constructions happening for the end of year show for next Friday,
2:15 so that's exciting.
2:18 And, oh, I guess I should mention what the rule we passed was, in case anyone listening
2:24 wants to know about that.
2:26 It was that snowballs, from the snowball stand, cannot be taken inside of the building.
2:35 We had some issues of people storing it inside, and then it's spilling all over the place,
2:41 and it becomes a sticky mess, a colored sticky mess of stuff.
2:46 I think several parts of our fridge are now colored pink because of it, so, yeah, so we
2:56 banned it.
2:58 And yeah, I guess that's it.
3:03 I did see a few people of various sizes riding a smaller spike today, that was kind of weird,
3:10 that was when I was recording the talk about Tuesday.
3:15 And now I'm seeing someone actually playing with the tetherball, I haven't seen that in
3:20 a while, and I haven't seen the Gaga stuff going on for a very long time.
3:24 Of course, it's been kind of wet, but things come and go around here, so that's that.
3:38 Anyway, I will see you when I see you, and have a good one.
