0:00 Welcome to ANI In The Air, under the tent and around Baltimore. Your daily podcast briefing of other goings ons, ins and arounds, arts and ideas, so it's very cool.
0:08 So today, another beautiful, gorgeous day underneath the tent. Had a great wind going on, so even though technically it's supposed to be hotter than other days, I actually feel a little cold because of the wind.
0:23 It's really been nice. A breeze makes such a world of difference.
0:29 So today we had Article Club, in which we discussed the wonders of humans helping each other in the crisis situation. That was fun.
0:44 And then after that we had our final practice defense for the thesis stuff. What a way to finish. Another great defense. All of them have been just fantastic to witness and be a part of.
1:03 Really greatly honored to have been able to do this. Our thesis panel that will be doing it next week, they've got a good crew to work with.
1:18 Unfortunately they'll be over Zoom, but other than that I expect it to be a good time for all. It's really nice.
1:28 Let's see, we also, after that meeting, had a little bit of a quick meeting about the poll workers and reporter for doing the returning staff election stuff.
1:46 That'll be the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Our speeches will be at noon and the voting will be done after that, probably at one. So that's something to look forward to.
2:03 Another day of lots of snowball stand going on. Lots of people out in the field. Slackline continues to be very popular. Bike riding and swings and tetherball and all that good stuff.
2:21 And there's also a little game of throwing the tennis ball over the tent. That seems to be a new popular pastime. So that's all exciting.
2:34 Another great day. Tomorrow promises to be another beautiful day. Tonight is assembly, so at 7pm on our usual Zoom link we will be doing the assembly stuff. We'll be talking about some of the changes now that vaccines are here.
2:57 And looking forward to having that conversation. Alright, so today is Thursday, so it's tip of the week Thursday to finish out the Wikipedia stuff.
3:15 The tip I have is that you can go to the main Wikipedia page. And they have a variety of items of interest. It changes every day.
3:38 I have kind of a tab where I open up interesting sites with various news bits. That's one of them I have. I just look it over and you just get to see lots of random stuff.
3:55 It's kind of nice not just following recent news and whatever is trending. Instead, just learn a couple things here and there. If something catches your fancy, you read it.
4:08 As you read that, maybe something else catches your fancy and you can waste a whole hour if you're so inclined.
4:18 But it's really quite wonderful to just have this kind of resource. It's like flipping open an encyclopedia and just starting to read.
4:27 So enjoy that little tidbit. And I guess that is all. I will see you when I see you. Have a good one.
