0:00 All right. Welcome to Arts and Ideas in the Air, Under the Tent, and Around Baltimore,
0:04 your daily podcast briefing of all the goings ons, ins, and rounds, Arts and Ideas, Sudbury School.
0:08 So today was a bit of a cloudy day, fairly pleasant temperature.
0:14 I saw a number of groups run around outside. At one point there was a pretty good stick fight
0:24 happening. Seemed to end with one group taking the high ground of the mulch pile and, well,
0:30 you can't win if you don't have the high ground, I guess. So, some tree swinging. I actually haven't
0:40 seen any ball throwing today. That's odd. And we had article club, which was on a video about Wally
0:53 and the sociological storytelling. So, that was fun. There's also, as I speak, I believe, a
1:03 creative free rate going on. I'm sure that's quite exciting. And we are anticipating some strong
1:13 wins tomorrow. So, we added a few more of the drill in stakes to hold down the tent. We are
1:22 quite confident that it will hold, but we shall see tomorrow. I can already feel some of the wind
1:27 picking up. So, that'll be exciting to witness. And yeah, I think that's, oh, and I've started
1:44 washing the windows of the school inside and out. But that'll be the tip of the week, Thursday,
1:51 which I will do now. So, if you have the right kind of windows, you can latch them out and
2:02 actually take them out and then you can wash them. It is pretty important for the style windows that
2:09 we have at the school, at least, and I still have them at my home, that when you take it out, the
2:15 window is perfectly horizontal. And that's how you can easily get it back in. In addition,
2:26 so there's kind of two places that the window goes into on either side. And when one is on
2:38 level, you can take something like a thick screwdriver or maybe I once used some pliers
2:49 that had just the right kind of head shape. But you kind of put it in there and you kind of twist
2:56 and you got to really hold it because there's a lot of kick on it because that's what makes the
2:59 windows easy to move up and down. And then, you know, you can reposition them and it's kind of
3:05 tricky because they should really be level. They don't need to be perfectly level, but
3:09 fairly level in order for the two up and downs to actually close together and not have gaps and so
3:16 forth. And so, anyway, that's what I was doing for a while. It takes a long time, but the windows
3:22 shine up and are very pretty to look through. So, it's a big task to go through this whole building,
3:29 but hopefully in time it'll work out. Anyway, y'all have a good one and I will see you when I see you.
