0:00 Welcome to ANI, in the air, in the conference room, and around Baltimore, your daily podcast briefing of all the goings-ons, ins and rounds, arts and ideas, Sudbury School.
0:09 So today is another cold day, I'm really tired of the cold at this point, and so I'm recording from inside.
0:16 And I've actually had, I've eaten in the dining room twice this week, first time this year.
0:26 Hopefully this will be the last time I have to do that, because hopefully we'll have nice weather from now on, at some point or another.
0:33 We are planning on putting up the tent tomorrow, tomorrow at 11 I believe, so please come out if you can, that'd be great.
0:41 We're also having an assembly tonight about modifying our COVID policies, so come out to that if you care.
0:49 It could be interesting, it could be boring, I have no idea. It'll probably be long.
0:56 And let's see, what happened today, more gaga pit plain, I saw that, which means sand.
1:05 I was a little too optimistic yesterday when I thought, oh, all the sand doesn't seem to be around.
1:13 Well, for some reason, it doesn't really start to appear until the second floor. The staircase, the second floor, it's like when it first comes into the building, it's kind of being a little shy.
1:24 And then, I mean, there's some on the first floor, but not so bad, and then, man, second floor, it's practically a sand pit up there.
1:32 So, that's fun.
1:35 And let's see, fortunately we are having cleaners, I believe, coming today, so that's always nice.
1:42 But I will do a lot to straighten up and clean up for them, so it's not too bad on them.
1:49 But hopefully, you know, sand is a very fine particle, so hopefully they can get all the stuff I miss.
1:58 And that's probably all that I know. I was kind of head down into budget matters.
2:05 The, yeah, we basically in two weeks from Sunday, we'll have our assembly budget meeting, and so I wanted to make sure that, you know, I've got it lined up for progress.
2:26 We will review it in our staff meeting, and then any relevant bits in the school meeting, and then if everything's fine, then we'll record a little video presentation for people to see,
2:40 and hopefully give them at least a week to watch it, and think about it, and give us any feedback, and then in the budget meeting, hopefully we can be efficient about it.
2:50 That's what we did last year, and I thought it went pretty well, so looking forward to that.
2:55 And in any event, I guess that's about it. Oh, it's farewell Friday, so it was a pretty good week, although it was cold.
3:05 It got cold, it was rainy. Normally I love those things, but yeah, this year I just really want it to be kind of nice, just be able to sit outside.
3:17 So, there's that. Next week there will be no farewell Friday, for I am, for next Friday is my birthday, and on my birthday, I don't eat, and I don't speak.
3:30 It's just one of those things. And so I'll probably have to come in at the end of the day to help close, because we are a little short staffed, but otherwise I won't be there, and there will be no podcast.
3:46 So, that is that. Anyway, I hope you all have a good weekend, and I will either see you at Assembly, the tent raising, or hopefully on Monday, in the very least Monday announcements.
4:00 See you when I see you.
