So today was not quite our Halloween celebration. Some people came in in costume and they were pretty cool to look at. Some of them were quite intense.

Hopefully they'll bring it on Monday when we're doing our official Halloween celebration. We'll have a haunted house in the art room.

People online can come in person and can have a great time with costumes. We also have allowed alumni to come. Some of them might be coming towards the end of the day, so maybe that would be cool to see.

So Monday is our Halloween. Today was sort of a bit of a preview. It was a nice day. A little cool, still a little wet in the field, kind of muddy.

Personally, I was walking in the field and there was a plant that attacked me. I took it out. It was a crazy thorn-covered plant. I was like, "No, you're not staying here."

So that's gone. Used a mat talk. I love that. The axe pick on one side, big flat blade on the other. Wham! It was very satisfying. Not that it's okay to kill plants and stuff, but hey, got to protect the community, right?

Okay, great. So this is Farewell Friday and it's been a good week. It's always a good week here. Any week in which we have school is a good week.

So yeah, looking forward to next week. That'll be November. November. We've made it through two full months of COVID school. I'm cold, but I'm surviving. I think I've worn my winter jacket the entire day.
