Today was an absolutely beautiful, gorgeous day, and it was truly nice to
0:21
sit in the sunroom during a staff meeting and just look outside and see
0:25
how beautiful it was. We have, I mean, there's only two of us in the in the sunroom
0:35
and the rest were interacting via Discord, but you know, it was really nice.
0:42
So yeah, the day here was pretty calm. I believe there's some floors lava games
0:50
going on. There was some bug excitement that might actually show up in
0:58
JC on Monday. I'm not sure if I see Octo the spider anymore, so that's a question.
1:06
I do believe I saw Kevin or Tootsie the squirrel hanging around earlier today,
1:13
but I don't see them now. A little bit of a fort building around the fallen tree,
1:22
and some swing action, and some devices outside. Always loving the merging of
1:36
nature and technology, so that's cool. There was also some unfortunate brick
1:43
breaking which stopped immediately upon being informed that there was a rule
1:49
against brick breaking, so that's good. I haven't checked since, but they did say
1:54
they'd clean it up, so hopefully that's been cleaned up, otherwise I will be very
1:57
sad. And No School tomorrow on Friday, so anyone listening to this, No School on
2:06
Friday tomorrow. We will have a full week next week, so on Monday there's the
2:14
discussion of the history stuff that happened on Wednesday as usual. A school
2:20
meeting on Tuesday. The last age check-in, five to seven year olds, on Wednesday at
2:27
noon. And then another history topic, I do not know what it is. And then I guess on
2:36
Friday we'll have the article club on the surveillance capitalism or something.
2:46
Alrighty, yeah, so I think that's a good look forward. Your tip of the week
2:55
Thursday is if you find yourself an unexpectedly long time without, say, being
3:03
at school, and you're looking for something to do, what I always find very
3:10
interesting is to find some sort of feature outside to look at. Maybe it
3:18
could be a spiderweb, maybe it's a metal sign with a bit of rust. I just gotta
3:24
stare at it for a while and really appreciate the depth and texture of
3:27
whatever it is I'm looking at. Really awesome is when there's a spider web
3:32
attached to a metal rusting sign and you can just, that's like, that's like level
3:38
27 of deep in the zone, you know what I mean? So there you go. Go and find
3:45
something awesome to stare at for a while and just really appreciate its
3:49
beauty, particularly if it's something that most people would never appreciate.
3:53
You will be the only person to have ever studied that thing in such detail. You
3:58
will be unique in the entire universe for having done that. Just think about that.
4:03
Alright, you guys all have a good three-day weekend and really looking
4:07
forward to seeing you next week. Have a good one.
