So today we had a nice little JC case that was about someone messing with the chickens
0:19
and they weren't authorized to do so.
0:22
And so that's cool, a clear violation of the chicken rule.
0:25
So, students were telling the person to stop and they didn't stop and so then there was
0:31
a question about the stop rule, whether that applied or not.
0:33
And a reading of the stop rule kind of suggested that, you know, it's about harassing the behavior
0:41
that's being directed towards a person who doesn't want it.
0:44
So we determined as a team that it did not apply.
0:47
That was a fun little discussion.
0:51
Obviously the chicken rule did and so action was carried out, warning, no chickens were
0:58
harmed in case you were wondering.
1:01
But, so that was JC.
1:04
There was also a music corporation meeting today.
1:09
I believe they were talking about some sanitation issues and usage and I believe the music room
1:16
has now a capacity of one suggested, two maximum.
1:22
So that's cool.
1:25
We also for the several past days have had a spider with a really great web in between
1:33
one of the tent poles and the line supporting it.
1:39
So I'm going to call the spider Octo the spider and Phil just observed that it's currently
1:47
consuming a beetle.
1:50
So that's cool.
1:52
It's a great thing to see a nice spider in its web and eating away.
1:59
It's a very happy looking spider.
2:02
Fuzzy too.
2:03
A little bit on the yellow side I think.
2:07
Today is tip of the week Thursday.
2:12
So my tip of the week for today is sandals.
2:16
Now some people think sandals are only appropriate during summer, probably only with shorts,
2:24
maybe with beach stuff.
2:28
But in actuality sandals are appropriate in all weathers if you take appropriate precautions.
2:37
I have been wearing sandals year round for a number of years now.
2:41
Basically my feet got a little claustrophobic and sandals allow for a lot of breathing.
2:46
Now how do you handle various weather types?
2:50
So just simply cold, well sandals have a lot of room in them and so you can actually put
2:59
on socks and then you can also put on double layers of socks and maybe even triple layers
3:07
of socks.
3:08
I haven't really experimented with multiple layers but I'm hopeful this will be a great
3:12
year to experiment with that.
3:15
For rain I have these little like rain slip ons that you know are completely impervious
3:25
to the water and so the sandals stay nice and dry.
3:30
Also a way you can heat up your feet a little as well because they're all enclosed although
3:37
those may get a little sweaty even.
3:42
Then what about snow?
3:44
Well there are actual kind of snow boot coverings that I have, I've only used them a couple
3:52
of times because well I live in Baltimore but my parents live in northern Jersey and
3:58
I was there when it snowed and I put them on and they worked great.
4:02
What's really nice is you still have your sandal still supporting it and so you still
4:09
have the freedom and the wiggling and all that good stuff but you have a really full
4:18
kind of boot experience, keeps you perfectly warm and you know covered and I really find
4:25
it quite nice.
4:27
So sandals, an all weather shoe for any occasion, that's your tip of the week, Thursday.
4:34
You all have a great time and see you all later.
